About Angelica
Angelica Bua is the creator of Chasin The Groove pursuing her dream to start this fun community of Groove-Chasers.
Angelica has been dancing for 23 years and is trained in many different styles of dance, but especially enjoys hip-hop and contemporary. A graduate of West Chester University, she was the captain of the nationally ranked West Chester University Dance Team.
Angelica is going into her sixth-year dancing professionally in the Philadelphia sports entertainment industry. She began her post-collegiate career dancing for the National Lacrosse League (NLL) as a Philadelphia Wings Dancer where she served as captain during the 2018-2019 season. Angelica then became a member of Squad 76 for the Philadelphia 76ers, where she continues to be seen dancing on television and at the Wells Fargo Center. In addition to, being a part of the team, Angelica has had multiple opportunities to choreograph for Squad76. Angelica has also choreographed and performed in Philly Pretzel’s Dip Campaign commercial as well as in 2023 NYFW with Neda Zehra.
Angelica’s training at Broadway Dance Center in New York City has connected her with well renowned choreographers in the dance industry, and she applies this experience through also teaching and choreographing for local dance studios and dance teams. Above all else, Angelica’s teaching style emphasizes confidence within a no-stress environment for all of her classes.
